2010-2011 BHS ENROLLMENT:

Tuesday August 3rd 9am-1pm, 3pm-7pm in the BHS commons area.

Parents and students:  You should receive your enrollment information and next year’s class schedule in the mail approximately the third week in July.  Please fill out the enrollment forms you received in the mail and bring them with you on enrollment day.  Because there are other forms that require both the parent and students signature and some forms need to be notarized, we request that both the parent and student attend enrollment day. Counselors will be available for schedule changes on August 3rd, the day of enrollment.  Please contact Tami Estes no earlier than July 29th at 785-594-2726 to schedule an appointment if you need a schedule change.  Schedule changes may also be made up to one week after classes begin.

Late Enrollment:

The deadline for late enrollment will be Friday, August 6th.  The BHS office will be open Wednesday, August 4th through Friday, August 6th from 7:30-11:00 am  and 1-3:00 pm for late enrollment.  If you cannot enroll by Friday August 6th, please call 594-2725 to schedule an appointment.

BHS Enrollment Fees: Sport and Activity user fees are $40.00 each.  The Textbook fee is $90.00. This year there is not a charge for individual class fees.

New District students attending BHS should contact the counseling office at 785-594-2726 no sooner than July 29th to schedule an appointment.  Appointments will begin August 3rd.  New students should provide the following items; Proof of residency (a rental agreement, a utility bill), current immunizations, a copy of student’s birth certificate, any information regarding placement in Special Education including a copy of a current IEP, and any standardized testing or recent grades available.  Information may be faxed to 785-594-4138.  Out of district students must first apply and receive written confirmation from the USD 348 District Office (785-594-2721).

2010-2011 BHS School Photos: School photographs for freshmen, new BHS students and exchange students will be taken Wednesday, August 18th.  Sophomores, juniors and seniors will be photographed Friday, August 20th.  All seniors will be photographed for their yearly student ID.
